Aikaterini Vasiou has been serving since November 2022 as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Primary Education, University of Crete, specializing in "Methodological Approaches in Educational Psychology." She completed her undergraduate studies at the School of Philosophy, University of Ioannina, and her postgraduate studies at the Department of Primary Education, University of Thessaly. She was awarded a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Thessaly and, with an Excellence Scholarship, conducted postdoctoral research in School Psychology and Counseling at the University of Western Macedonia. She has participated in a research program on Experimental Studies at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and in mental health research projects at the University of the Aegean. She has published articles in international and Greek journals and has presented at international and national conferences in psychology and education. Her research interests include personal and interpersonal factors in teaching and learning, social and emotional learning, and students' and teachers' well-being. Before her appointment at the University of Crete, she served for 17 years in Secondary Education and for 3 years as a Laboratory Teaching Staff (EDIP) member at the University of Western Macedonia.
