Short Bio
Iosif Maravelakis was born in 1986 in Chania. In 2009, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Macedonia, earning a degree in Business Administration. He then pursued studies in history, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in History and Archaeology with a specialisation in History from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2015. In 2016, he earned his Master's degree in Modern European History from University College London (UCL). He completed his Ph.D. in Modern History at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) in 2023. His main research interests focus on 19th and 20th-century Greek, European, and Mediterranean history. -
